Frog Lake CFS Equine Centre

Frog Lake is building a 5000sqm equine facility with an indoor horse training and riding area, wrap around services and an interconnected walkway to a separate building for assembly occupancy. The project includes fenced pastures for the horses in the summer, medicine garden, fruit trees, and community garden, as well as cultural grounds. Six transition homes and one emergency home are part of the development. 

Latest update

July 9, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination ( and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
