RW-4851 Authorization to Construct and Operate a Right of Way for a gas pipeline

A 15 m wide, 498.3 m long right of way easement will provide for the construction and operation of a  pipeline that will transport natural gas.  Construction of the pipeline and reclamation of the right of way will be completed within the first year of the project.  Following decommissioning of the pipeline, the right of way will be surrendered.

The project is located in Frog Lake First Nation. The proponent is West Lake Energy Corp.

January 24, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Indian Oil and Gas Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
