Stoney Nakoda Broadband Tower installation - Repeater Towers

This project in Stoney Nakoda includes the installation of one of three 45 meter (138') free standing (no guidewires) telecommunication towers in various locations on Morley Reserve. The base of the tower site development will be approximately 15m x 15m or 225 m2.  The goal of the project is to provide full broadband service to Stoney Nakoda Nation members.

August 30, 2022 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of Notice of Determination for the the Stoney Nakoda Broadband Tower Installation - Repeater Towers - Canada.ca (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
