Water Supply Tunnel at Second Narrows - Metro Vancouver - Amendment 02

Metro Vancouver is requesting an extension to the approved project permit (PER No. 17-064), which has an expiry date of December 31, 2023, due to unanticipated issues which have resulted in project scheduling delays. The scope of works that remain to be completed includes: 

  • Maintenance of an area, approximately 4,200 metres squared, which would be used for storage and demobilization of construction material 
  • Grading and replanting of vegetation with native species in areas previously disturbed
