Aquatic Invasive Species Inspection Station

Parks Canada is proposing to construct a new facility to conduct watercraft inspections for Aquatic Invasive Species. The inspection station will be constructed on an existing disturbed footprint near the Park entrance gate. The scope of work may include minor roadway work including realignment to facilitate vehicle access to the site, site preparation work including grading, paving, installation of a washroom facility, utility work, and installation of an inspection building. Parks Canada will be undertaking a Basic Impact Assessment to assess potential project-related impacts to natural and cultural resources from this Project.
