Husky Energy Exploration Drilling Project

Husky Oil Operations Ltd. (Husky) is proposing to conduct an exploration drilling project within offshore exploration licenses on the Grand Banks, located approximately 350 kilometres east of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, in the Atlantic Ocean. As proposed, the Husky Energy Exploration Drilling Project would allow the proponent, over a nine-year period, to determine the presence, nature, and quantities of the potential hydrocarbon resource in exploration licences 1151, 1152 and 1155.

August 15, 2019 – The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency is reviewing the adequacy of the additional information submitted by the proponent on August 9, 2019 related to the Environmental Impact Statement.
